Chrysoprase Necklace

These beads are primitive looking. I have used carnelian spacers and copper chain.

Blue chalcedony necklace

blue chalcedony necklace
Blue chalcedony necklace combined with blue tone agate and baroque pearls. I really love how this necklace turned out. The giant piece of chalcedony was not drilled perfectly and it causes the bead to stay just how it looks in the picture.

Neon apatite necklace

Neon apatite necklace. I love this necklace, but the small beads have tiny holes and the big beads have larger holes. I had to use a lighter weight beadalon to string it.

cotton candy pink

I love these pink Peruvian opal nugget beads. I strung them on beadalon with pink Peruvian opal spacers.
It will be in my shop soon!

A walk on the beach

Keshi pearl necklace grayshell pendant with grey keshi pearls

I made this necklace with keshi pearls I bought some years ago. I was really happy to use one of the shells I found when visiting Jacksonvile Florida. I enjoyed putting some pearls and beads in the holes of the shell, like they put there by the ocean. The fluorite toggle bead looks like sea glass.

red,black and white necklace

I like this color combination. I also like the the natural form of the red coral combined with the constraint of the striped black and white glass beads.

I'm having fun making necklaces!

asymmetrical chunky necklace

asymmetrical chunky necklace raku:2 asymmetrical chunky necklace raku:1

I've been working with asymmetrical compositions. I made this necklace using some commercially made raku beads combined with some of my raku beads and glass beads. I've always loved that nature often appears symmetrical but if you look closely it's not. There are always surprise shapes and lines, then light and shading change it again. It is 23 inches long and weighs about 6 ounces. There are glaze imperfections on the kiln-fired raku beads that I made.

beach stone necklace

beach stone necklace

I cut the beach stone for this necklace from a large beach stone that I found.  The colors are red and white with some green.  I don't know what the stone is, I suppose it's granite.  I combined it with some of my clay beads and an aquamarine.  I can't get enough of Lake Michigan beach stones.  They make me smile.

Red Coral Beaded Necklace

I knotted these red coral beads on silk and finished it with one of my house beads and one of my sterling silver clasps.

I love this necklace. It has a button closure which I've done before. The button is new old stock vintage. I like that it can be worn several different ways. Check out the black and white pictures below.
